NEI Attends National Ambient Air Monitoring Conference
NEI attended the National Ambient Air Monitoring Conference last week, August 13 – 16 in Portland, Oregon. This conference, hosted by the Ambient Air Monitoring Group (AAMG), the National Association for Clean Air Agencies (NACAA), and the Association of Air Pollution Control Agencies (AAPCA), provides a forum for EPA, State, local, tribal, international, and other agencies involved in air monitoring programs to discuss ambient air monitoring changes, progress, and results. Attendees can learn about new monitoring regulations, technology, and data analysis.
During this conference, our team demonstrated the analytical capabilities of our new gas chromatograph model, the NovaTest P300. The P300 gives users the ability to conduct real-time on-site tests and immediately view calculated results. This model features automated sampling, rapid separation and detection, and a built-in PC to allow users to run tests and immediately view results with no additional equipment or calculations required. These features, combined into one convenient unit, generated much interest from those attending the conference. Our team was happy with the interest shown in our work and was eager to explore potential applications for the P300. The conference was great opportunity to seek feedback from other leaders in air quality monitoring and to assess how our products can best be applied to the goals of improving environmental monitoring and protection.
The NEI team is a unique group of highly educated people with the mission of providing superior products and services to the globe and creating a “Better life through innovation.” We value the opportunity to attend this important conference and to meet with others working to provide environmental solutions, and we look forward to being a part of future solutions.
