You can customize both the structure of P100 and the built-in methods, but you will need to let us know your application or target compounds. We install particular columns and/or the detector at your request or base on the information you provided. We can also generate a built-in method with programming parameters of your target compounds all preset.

For the default built-in method, the Air Quality has 21 target compounds. But with a customized built-in method, you can have as many compounds as you want.

Yes. Generally speaking, you can use it in any application as long as the organic compounds and inorganic gases can be separated and have ionization potential within 10.6 eV.

If you want to analyze an air sample in a field, you don’t need any sample preparation at all. Simply point the sampling port into the area of your desired sample, the P100 will pump in the air sample automatically when you click on “Start”. But you have to make sure that the P100 is turned on and connected to your laptop.

If you want to analyze a gas sample in a container, attach the sampling needle onto the sampling port of the P100 and insert the needle into the container.

If you want to analyze water sample in a field, you will need a purge and trap system prior to the P100. Contact us for our PNT system.

The minimum sampling time is 6 seconds, or 0.1 min due to the structure of the P100. And here are some recommendations for sampling time based on estimated sample concentration: 5 min (minimal) for 1 ppb or less, 2 ~ 5 min for 1 ppb ~ 2 ppm, 2 min (maximal) for 20 ppm or above.

No. The P100 will run auto cleaning after each test which saves you the maintenance work. But you can still run “Deep Clean” if you want for further cleaning of the system.

Normally you won’t need a filter. But if there are large particles like dust or PM2.5 in the surrounding area, a filter is highly recommended.

When only 2 out of 5 battery indication lights are on, you’d better charge it.

There is a carrier gas cabin on the P100 for the installation of small disposable cylinder containing helium.

Generally, in P100 system, a full cylinder of helium can support up to 72 hrs of tests.

Yes. The battery is permitted to be carried on board within the nation. However, a carrier gas cylinder is not permitted. You will need to vent and uninstall the gas cylinder before you check in at the airport.

NovaSoft, the software to control P100 on a computer, requires a Win10 system. IOX system is temporarily not supported.
