CONTINUOUS MONITORING

NovaTest A1000 is an online solution for continuous air quality monitoring. Rapid analysis detects complex volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and some volatile inorganic compounds with high sensitivities. The contained, temperature controlled structure is designed to be accurate and reliable under any condition, and the standard chassis is adaptable to most existing air monitoring stations.

A1000 is built on a standard chassis, making it adaptable to most existing air monitoring stations.
BUILT-IN PC WITH ONLINE CAPABILITIES
A1000 contains an integrated PC and screen. The system can be connected to a network for continuous, unattended monitoring. Users can start tests and view results remotely, making air quality monitoring more convenient and reliable.
DIRECT SAMPLING
When testing gaseous samples in a field, the A1000 automatically pumps in its surrounding air at a specified interval. If installed in a rack, the A1000 will sample from the sample stream.  A user does not need additional accessories or to manually inject samples.
CONTINUOUS MONITORING
The built-in methods have target compounds’ information and programming parameters pre-determined, eliminating the need for user input. Sampling times, wait times, and sampling intervals can also be programmed in advance, allowing the system to run continuously with unattended monitoring.
INSTANT REPORT
The instant report with calculated results generated by the A1000 from any test saves its user considerable time in data analysis. The report from a built-in method also calculates the concentrations of the targeted compounds. A report is immediately ready for printing and is saved for future reference.
POWERFUL
A1000 detects the compounds with a PID (photo-ionization detector) and has a detection limit of sub-ppb (for benzene). The FWHMs of most substances is less than 5 seconds.
RAPID
A1000 shortens the analysis time from the tens of minutes of the traditional GC to only several minutes. It well separates BTEX in less than 3 min.
TEMPERATURE CONTROLLED
Temperature controlled enclosures suppress retention time draft and ensure accurate results under any conditions.

You can use A1000 for continuous VOC monitoring such as in industrial emission detection, leak detection, fenceline monitoring, or ambient air monitoring. Generally speaking, you can use it in any application as long as there are VOCs (volatile organic compounds) or inorganic gases with ionization potential within 10.6 eV. Due to its standard chassis design, the A1000 is compatible with most existing air monitoring stations.
You can customize both the structure of  the A1000 and the built-in methods, but you will need to let us know your application or target compounds. We install particular columns and/or the detector at your request or based on the information you provide. We can also generate a built-in method with programming parameters of your target compounds all preset.
For the default built-in method, the Air Quality has 21 target compounds. But with a customized built-in method, you can have as many compounds as you want.
Yes. Generally speaking, you can use it in any application as long as the organic compounds and inorganic gases can be separated and have ionization potential within 10.6 eV.
The A1000 automatically samples the surrounding air by pumping air into the system through a sampling port.
For best results, the minimum sampling time is 6 seconds, or 0.1 minute. Here are some recommendations for sampling time based on estimated sample concentration:  5 minutes or more for 1 ppb or less, 2 ~ 5 minutes for 1 ppb ~ 500 ppb, 2 minutes or less for 1 ppm or above.
No. The A1000 will run auto cleaning after each test which saves you the maintenance work. But you can still run “Deep Clean” if you want to further clean the system.
Normally you won’t need a filter. But if there are large particles like dust or PM2.5 in the surrounding area, a filter is highly recommended.
Connect the gas cylinder to the A1000 using a standard Swagelok connector.
