Description: NovaTest P100 is a patented compact gas chromatograph that’s designed for quick separation and detection of VOC mixtures as well as some volatile inorganic compounds. Its high sensitivity allows operators to see chemicals at lower pub level, not worrying about the compensation between the convenience and analysis performance.
The built-in battery can support 8 hours of test. There will be notification when the battery needs charging.
The P100 uses helium as carrier gas in a mini disposable cartridge that allows the user to run tests for up to 72 hours.
When testing gaseous samples in a field, the P100 pumps in its surrounding air automatically. A user does not need additional accessories or inject manually to load samples
P100 is controlled by laptop via USB connection. The user will operate mostly through the user interface on the laptop.
There are 2 operation modes available – quick test with minimum parameter input and a traditional test with every parameter editable.
The built-in methods have target compounds’ information and all the programming parameters pre-determined. User will only need to input sampling time to start a test.
The instant repot with calculated results of the P100 from any test saves its user considerable time in data analysis. Especially, the report from a built-in method also calculates the concentrations of the targeted compounds. A report is ready immediately for printing.
P100 shortens the analysis time from tens of minutes of the traditional GC to only several minutes. It well separates BTEX in less than 3 min.P100 detects the compounds with a PID (photo ionization detector) and has a detection limit of sub-ppb (for benzene). The FWHMs of most substances are less than 5 seconds.
P100 is 36 x 30 x 15 cm and 7 kg, just the size of a bag pack. Generally only a laptop is needed to assist the testing
